Studio Sanders interior design is a small, approachable studio in central Cambridge with an instinctive feel for colour, light and spacial planning. We have a practical approach to making the most of budgets, and a thorough understanding of how interiors come together. From beginning to end, we work in partnership with our clients, as well as with trusted tradespeople, architects and carefully chosen suppliers to ensure creative outcomes that exceed expectations.
We design vibrant, layered spaces filled with warmth and meaning, and we encourage clients to be brave, to think beyond their boundaries in order to create inviting homes that make them smile; homes that are original, welcoming and characterful. We love colour, pattern, art and antiques, and we enjoy the design and decoration process enormously, which gives our clients the confidence to embrace colours and designs that enrich their daily lives.
It’s never too early in a project to think about the interior design (in fact, if you’re planning to work with a designer and you’re already talking to an architect, now is the time to contact us), and we enjoy working with architects and contractors to ensure brilliant results for our clients. We usually have a lead time of 3-4 months for beginning new projects, and the design and implementation for a full house project can take a year or more. By starting early, you give yourself the time and space to make the best possible decisions.
Our minimum scope for interior design projects is two rooms; for full refurbishments, we work by floor or by area, depending on client requirements and budget priorities.
